A passenger has the right to have free hand luggage service, which includes objects that can be easily taken into coaches and put above and under the seat occupied by the passenger in the coach, unless it contravenes customs regulations or if any damage can be done to coaches by these objects. The objects intended for passengers' use, packed in trunks, baskets, bags, boxes and similar receptacles, will be accepted as luggage for carriage.

If the objects cannot be carried over to a service coach, the passenger will pay excess luggage charge in accordance with the passenger tariff provisions. Placing the luggage onto seats, floor area and gangways between coaches is not allowed.
Passengers' luggage is accepted for carriage only at the station, with a valid ticket, and not later than 15 minutes before the departure of the relevant train. |
